FEPA F220 F280 Brown Fused Alumina for stainless steel polishing applications
Brown Fused Alumina (BFA) FEPA F220 and F280 are premium abrasive grains manufactured under strict FEPA grading standards, specially designed for stainless steel polishing and surface finishing. Produced by melting high-quality bauxite in electric arc furnaces, the grains feature sharp edges, excellent toughness and stable hardness.
F220 delivers moderate cutting power to remove surface scratches and welding marks efficiently, while finer F280 creates a smoother, uniform matte or semi-bright stainless steel surface. Both grades have consistent particle size distribution and low impurity levels, minimizing surface defects, pitting and discoloration on stainless steel workpieces.
Suitable for vibratory finishing, abrasive blasting and bonded abrasive tools for stainless steel sheets, castings and hardware parts. Each batch undergoes full quality checks with available COA. Our FEPA graded brown fused alumina ensures repeatable polishing results, ideal for metal fabrication workshops and abrasive product manufacturers. Custom packaging is available.
