95% Brown Fused Alumina F30 F24 F60 for resin-bonded grinding wheels
Our 95% brown fused alumina (BFA) grits, available in FEPA standard F24, F30 and F60 grades, are specially manufactured raw materials for producing resin-bonded grinding wheels and cut-off wheels. Produced by fusing high-grade bauxite in electric arc furnace, this abrasive features stable chemical composition, high toughness and proper self-sharpening property, perfectly matching the phenolic resin bonding system.
With Al₂O₃ content guaranteed at minimum 95%, the grains adopt blocky, sharp particle shape after crushing, magnetic separation and strict grading. It balances hardness and toughness well: the grits will not break excessively under heavy grinding load, while micro-fracture occurs gradually to continuously expose new cutting edges, avoiding glazing and keeping stable cutting efficiency. It maintains excellent thermal stability under high-speed grinding conditions, which effectively reduces the risk of wheel burning and cracking during metal processing.
F24 and F30 coarse grits are ideal for heavy stock removal, rough grinding and weld cleaning on carbon steel, alloy steel and cast iron. F60 medium grit fits for semi-finish grinding and surface conditioning. This series is widely used for resin grinding wheels, depressed center grinding wheels and cutting discs in metal fabrication, foundry and steel workshop.
We implement strict size control and low iron content to ensure consistent wheel performance batch by batch. Compared with other abrasives, it brings balanced service life and competitive cost, and can be customized for special grain size and packing requirements.
